This fourth conference ‘monitoring, understanding, acting’ follows on from three successful international Water Contamination Emergencies conferences:

‘Can we cope?’ March 2003

‘Enhancing our response’ June 2005

‘Collective responsibility’ April 2008

The conference will deal with four principal themes: monitoring, understanding, acting and lessons learned.

It will emphasise prevention, how water companies prepare a strategy, and unusual or unpredictable emergency incident situations relating to drinking water.

Papers are invited for poster presentations.
